The preserve is the only part of an immense stretch of the forests that goes right into the neighboring Belarus. The area is a marshland and marshes have kept this area from being widely cultivated. Hence it preserved pristinely wild conditions.

Highlights of the day:
Stone Village. The huge boulders are scattered over the deep forest. The scientists consider that these boulders were fetched with the glacier. Local people has their own thoughts about it. This queer place had accreted with various legends long time ago: about the stone village, traces of pagan deities, etc. It is small wonder that as these stones of fanciful shapes excite your imagination.
Masterclass of wild-hive beekeeping. The region Polissia is one of the few places, where the old traditions of wild-hive beekeeping has preserved. These traditions will be shown for you.

Highlights of the day:
The whole route for today is going across the territory of the Poliskyi Natural Preserve. No asphalt, no cars - just forest paths and untouched nature. We will be accompanied with the forest worker, who will tell us about local flora and fauna, duties of the forester; answer all our questions.

Highlights of the day:
The ecological path. You will be definitely a witness of a history of this territory: from the remains of pagan temples, places of blurting out the coal to the permanent fire positions of Stalin-Molotov line. You will watch untouched nature: beavers' settlements, foxholes, pineries, different types of bogs.
